Machining

The equipment at our Kent workshop includes a well equipped tool room milling machine and a good sized metal lathe. These allow the undertaking of an almost limitless variety of machining tasks and the generation of a huge variety of shapes. The images on this page will hopefully give some idea of the uses that imaginative engineering can be put to where furniture making is involved.

Another huge advantage of our engineering machinery is in the making of bespoke tooling and equipment for specific projects. In the past we have made bespoke cutters, jigs and formers for various pieces of our own furniture, these tools can greatly increase efficiency by reducing the time involved in making a specific component and improving the accuracy and finish of the finished article.
